Car's Cooling System:

Check the radiator for any clogged cooling tubes. If any vines is choked, the engine is ought to overheat and suffer a stroke. The cooling tubes act like veins for the car's coolant to run throughout the system. One standout symptom of this issue is when the engine gets heated up beyond its reasonable limit at maintained high speeds.

Visually check the hoses and belts which are connected to the cooling system. Make sure the hoses are tight and look for small cracks in the rubber of the belt. Check the latter by grabbing the tube which is near to the clamp and please ensure that it doesn't rotate.

Top-up the coolant

Engine, Brake And Transmission Fluids:

Take regular rest stops. This again holds for long journeys. If you stop for 30 minutes to stretch your legs and gulp a pint of caffeine, it would help you to concentrate at your driving much better.
